Hello All - As you can see, Bo looks pretty happy about Shari's doctor visit Wednesday! The doctor gave Shari a good report except for the outcome of the cat scan. She has a fluid mass in her right lower abdomen that will probably be absorbed by her body. If it doesn't then they will drain it after her last chemo treatment in a about 6 weeks or so. This is not unusual after a massive operation such as Shari had. We'll wait and see in 6 weeks. The other good news is that Shari doesn't have to give herself those Lovenox shots in the stomach anymore! GOD is great and everything is on schedule for Shari's healing, thank you all for your prayers.

Sincerely,
Dad/Bob

Hello All - Shari had her check up yesterday with her oncologists. After telling the doctor about the emergency room visit, Dr. Rhomendata examined her and found a blood sack in her lower abdomen. She said that this is not uncommon after a surgery such as Shari had and that further tests are oncoming. Well, we go back to the hospital this Sunday for a cat scan and that should tell what the problem is. Then we go back to her doctor to see what the outcome is. I will update after we know the answer.

Love ya'll,

Hi everybody,
Shari had a little set back Sunday. For the last three days she has been feeling ill and nauseated with lower abdominal pain. We went to the emergency room Sunday and they diagnosed her with most likely, diverticulitis. That's due to several causes such as acid build up and the doctor moving her intestines over as she operated on Shari. Well, the bowels don't like to be disturbed and they shut down for a while and that sometimes causes this symptom. As the intestines wake up after the operation, they don't function well and this can cause diverticulitis. Shari has a lot of pain with this and is taking medicine to combat it. Just thought I'd let you all know so you can pray for her. Thank you all!

Shari's Last Series of Chemo

Hello Everyone - Yesterday, Monday, was Shari's first chemo treatment of a series of three that she will under go to make sure the cancer cells are killed. It wasn't too bad of a day for her but she says that going there each time is like going back to work after you've given your final notice. You kinda get a little queezee in the stomach because of how your boss usually resents you leaving before he can fire you. Not really but she doesn't like it. Well, she goes back in three weeks for the second round. I'll post then if no new news is current. Pray for her.
Love,
Dad/Bob
